Stane Špegel, also known as Monom, HouseMouse,and Stanislav, has been active in the Slovenian arts scene as a composer, instrumentalist, producer, and creator of multimedia content for four decades. He has released 23 solo albums that cover a wide range of styles, as well as 10 albums as a member of various bands (The Stoj, Fuzzit, Amfibia, Neurobic, BioNet, Dig, Kissik, etc.). As a member of the Microtrip collective, he has performed at all of the major electronic and experimental music festivals in Central Europe over the past twenty years. His compositions have appeared on several domestic and international music compilations, and he has also produced remixes for tracks by foreign artists such as Air, Jamez, Chris Liebing, Sestre, Elevators, and Eric Satie. He has won numerous international music competitions and contests as well. In addition to his work as a musician, Stane is also involved in creating musical equipment for theatrical and dance performances, as well as for public events. He has produced more than twenty solo music-visual performances/exhibitions that combine his sculptures, graphics, relief landscapes, and video films with his original music. His video films have been featured at several domestic and international video festivals as well. Stane has also written, co-written, and directed multiple commemorative events for political, cultural, fashion, and sports occasions.

Dolgoletna glasbena sopotnika in someščana Stane Špegel aka Monom in Jure Pukl sta do sedaj posnela dva skupna glasbena albuma in sodelovala pri več skupnih multimedijskih projektih. Letos je vzporedno z nastajanjem Puklovega enajstega studijskega albuma »Melt« nastajala tudi elektronska različica tega albuma poimenovana »ReMelt«. Stane Špegel aka Monom je glasbo, ki so jo pod taktirko skladatelja in saksofonista Jureta Pukla pod imenom Anorok odigrali priznani ameriški jazz glasbeniki basist Joe Sanders, trobentač Peter Evans in bobnar Nasheet Waits, dehumaniziral, harmoniziral in elektrificiral v multižanrsko glasbeno godljo.

Long-standing musical companions and fellow townspeople Stane Špegel alias Monom and Jure Pukl have so far recorded two collaborative music albums and participated in several joint multimedia projects. This year, alongside the creation of Jure Pukl's eleventh studio album "Melt," an electronic version of the album called "ReMelt" has also been in the making. Stane Špegel aka Monom dehumanized, harmonized and electrified the music played by the band Anorok under the direction of composer and saxophonist Jure Pukl, turning it into a multi-genre musical mélange.
